Plants vs Zombies is a casual strategy game. You must place the right plants in the right spots to stop incoming enemies. Your main goal is to successfully survive each wave, clearing the level to unlock new plants and worlds. 

How to Play Plants vs Zombies

Your main job is to defend a specific area of your house. Each level gives you a grid of lanes where zombies approach from the right side. You must place plants across these lanes to create an effective line of defense. 

Explore Multiple Modes

The game offers a full buffet of modes beyond the main campaign. You can try creative bonus levels like Wall-nut Bowling in the Mini-Games section. You can also team up with a friend in the Co-op Mode to coordinate your defense together.

Unlock and Experiment

You must constantly try new combinations to find the best defense. As you progress, you will unlock new plants and face new rules. There is never one perfect strategy for the game. You need to experiment with different plant combinations.

Optimal Puzzle Tips

Identify the strongest threat in the current wave; dedicate specific plants to counter it immediately. Use instant kill plants like Cherry Bombs to clear grouped threats or strong enemies that break through the main line.

• Left-click is used to pick seeds and plant defenders. 
• You can collect sunlight using a mouse click.
