How to Play Pips NYT

You need to place dominoes on the board. You must place them in a way that satisfies all the conditions. You should start with the most restrictive regions first. For example, a region that must add up to 2 only has one possible domino that can fit. This makes the rest of the puzzle easier.

Understand the Region Conditions

The board is made of different colored regions. Each region has a condition that must be met. You need to make all the dots the same number, or make the dots add up to more than a certain number. Look at your available dominoes and see which ones can fit into the most challenging conditions.

Manage Your Dominoes

You have to use every single domino to solve the puzzle. This means every piece matters. Try to place a single domino that satisfies two conditions at once. You can rotate a domino before you place it.
